we had christmas at my aunts house yesterday
way out in who-the-hell-knows where.

i got a few things

$20, a few gift cards (wtf is with my rich aunt and having to give me gift cards to stores i loathe? last year it was abercrombie, this it was aeropostale. WHAT ABOUT HOT TOPIC? TO SCARED TO GO IN LIKE EVERYONE ELSE?)

what's up with people and having to have a job that completely neglects their children?
i mean, she's one of the higher-ups for bank of america
but her daughter, my little cousin (she's here right now)
she's so clingy
i mean, she never sees her parents, ever
it seems to take a lot out of her.
i think she still sleeps in bed with them somenights
and shes 12!
i mean, normally at that age kids dont even want to be seen with their parents.

i have this friend at school
he talks a lot about how his family is rich, and how he gets to travel so much and how he has all this nice stuff
but he has this horrible temper!
he can get pissed over nothing
i was talking to him one night
and he said something to the extent of "my dad tries to understand what he doesnt know. He's not here enough to know about anything."
hearing stuff like that always catches me off-guard
theres almost a gag reflex
like, thats not possible.
but i guess it is
it just doesnt happen to me.

onnnnnnn the lighter side
i got Panic's "...Live In Chicago" cd for christmas
(i was actually there when my parents were buying most of my presents. not much was a surprise, unless you cound the billions of headphones i got. oh, and the runescape membership XD)
but seriously
it made me love their music all over again
in the most literal form of the word
ive always wanted to go to one of their concerts
or any concert for a band i like, for that matter
ive seen them on youtube
they look like so much fun
but the best part?
they always play a different version of the song
and it almost always ends up better than the original, in my mind.
also, i was listening through it straight
brendan tried to hit these really high notes (it was probably on Camisado) (it was on "you're a regular decorated emergenCY
OHMYGOD XD
that made my whole week
and i learned something else
i think Ryan (Ross) has a british accent, or something to that extent
i dont think ive ever actually heard him talk before
but i sort of went "who the fuck is talking? it doesnt sound like any of them!"
anyway
i seriously suggest you people listen to it
or ill borrow it to you
